Location: The ranch is located northwest of Crystal City, Texas in the famous "Golden Triangle" area of the South Texas Brush Country.

Terrain: The terrain is fairly level to gently sloping with productive creek bottoms. Brush cover is dense with scattered open areas. Medium and large mesquite comprise the main canopy, with other vegetation being live oak, blackbrush, guajillo, sumac and ceniza. Productive sandy loam and clay loam soils.

Water: The ranch is watered by wells, pipelines, seasonal creeks, ponds and a 20-30 surface acre lake.

Improvements: The ranch is exceptionally well improved, and all improvements are in good to excellent condition. The headquarters are located in a manicured compound area and include a beautiful owner's home, guest house, office, barn with enclosed apartment, shed, shipping pens and other support buildings.

Access: Access to the ranch is provided by a graded county maintained road that dead ends into the ranch. This property is truly an "end of the road ranch", and there is no public access through the property.

Hunting/Recreation: No commercial hunting has been allowed on the ranch. The owners have personally only selectively hunted the property. Protein and corn are fed year round. The ranch is joined on two sides by an exclusive high fenced hunting ranch, and the remainder of the property joins a low-fenced ranch that contains over 100 sections. Because of the above, there is very little hunting pressure on the Traylor Sola Vaca Ranch. Whitetail deer numbers and size are very impressive, and the ranch also offers great quail hunting, turkey, dove, waterfowl and hogs. It would be hard to locate a better recreation hunting ranch.
