Location: The ranch is located approximately 12 miles east of Springer, New Mexico.
Acres: 18,232 deeded acres, plus 28,005 acres of New Mexico State Lease, for a total of 46,237 acres, more or less.
Terrain: The topography ranges from fairly level to gently sloping uplands draining to draws and deep canyon country along the Canadian River bottom.

Improvements: The Jaritas Ranch may be the best improved cattle ranch in Northeast New Mexico. The ranch headquarters complex includes a beautiful owner's home, guest house, bunk/cookhouse, office, manager's house, and numerous sheds, barns, and related improvements. Livestock handling facilities are excellent, and all structural improvements are very well maintained.
Access: Access to the ranch is provided by paved highway frontage.
Hunting/Recreation: The ranch offers good hunting and recreation amenities. Wildlife includes elk, mule deer, turkey, antelope, bear, and lion have also been spotted. The larger ponds have Canadian Geese and ducks on a seasonal basis.
Remarks: If you are in the market for an outstanding, very well improved working cattle ranch, you will look long and hard before you will find a property equivalent to the Jaritas.
Price: Reduced to $550.00 per deeded acre with the New Mexico State Lease assigned to the purchaser. The lease is very reasonable, being only approximately $1.17 per acre. Giving consideration to the lease, the blended price for the Jaritas Ranch is only approximately $217 per gross acre.
