Texas Ranch Sold

MacGuire Ranch in Hudspeth County 26,444 Acres/$12,795,000

Location: The property is located primarily on top of the Diablo Plateau north of Sierra Blanca. Portions of the property drop off into deep canyons or extend beyond the high mesa upland country, however, from an operational standpoint, the ranch is all located on top of the mesa overlooking the desert flats.

Terrain: Elevations range from approximately 4,250′ to 5,200′, allowing for a mix of vegetation. Several varieties of grama grass are present, and brush cover consists of Spanish Dagger, sotol, cholla cactus and creosote. The grass turf is in good condition across the ranch.

Water: The ranch is principally watered by electric water wells, pipelines extending to water storage reservoirs and drinking troughs, as well as several large dirt tanks.

Hunting/Recreation: This area offers exceptional mule deer hunting and quail hunting. Trophy pronghorn antelope exist on the property frequently as well as javelina. Migratory dove hunting is excellent.

Improvements: Improvements consist of an older, but well maintained ranch headquarters. There is a foreman’s home, owner’s home, help housing, barns, sheds and several other outbuildings. Most are used on a day to day basis and remain in good condition. A large hangar is located near a paved landing strip.

Remarks: It is seldom that opportunities such as this arise. This property offers a great location, scenery and good cover and vegetation for wildlife and cattle.

Long term ownership quality ranches like this are hard to find, so this offering deserves your attention.
